This year was no different – we enjoyed fireworks, smoked meat, and, most importantly, the wonderful company of those we hold dear.

We often find ourselves so busy that we only see some friends and family at these special gatherings. This year, as we celebrated, it struck me how precious these times are. A Year of Reflection
2024 has been a challenging year for our family. In May, we faced the heartbreaking loss of a loved one, just as we were celebrating a milestone birthday for our middle son, who turned 18 and stepped into adulthood. Losing a brother to illness was a stark reminder of how unpredictable life can be. It taught us that we never truly know how much time we have, and it reinforced the importance of making the most of every moment.
