I had a topic I wanted to write about today, I changed my mind and thought this o is more fitting with the recent i55 accident. 

Life changing in a flash....

We all know how precious and short life is, even if you are 99 I bet you'd agree with me, its going fast.  I mean this week another kiddo in our home turns another year older...yesterday 80-100ish cars wrecked on i55 near our home.  One ext north of Rick's ext he uses for his buiness, an ext/area of the interstate he gets on many times a day to travel back and forth multiple times in a week.  Thankfully yesterday was not an i55 travel need for him. He was not in the accident but saw it all front row seat unfortunally.  Listening to what he witnessed and the look on his face, on one hand I was so thankful he was not in it, on the other I could feel the stress he was feeling for all those involved.  He was once a volunteer fire fighter in our small town, and a lot of sad memories came flooding back to him in that moment.  

Today, I just want to write how thankful I am none of my children nor husband, non of my loved ones were involved.  This stretch of road is used by our family on a daily basis.  For those who were involved, those who were hurt and didn't make it, you and your family are in my prayers.  To all those first repsonders, you do this because it means a lot to you, however it doesn't erase the scene from your mind and the memories, you too are in my prayers. 

Today I will end by just being thankful.  Try to do our best to live our lives in a thankful and loving manner to continue to charish the life we have.
